PROGRAM OFFICER: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Program Officer to support the planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of ACE-1 project activities across the state. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality delivery, financial accountability, and effective stakeholder engagement in line with donor expectations and project targets. Key responsibilities include developing and reviewing monthly and quarterly work plans, preparing activity memos, and ensuring at least 90% of planned activities are executed within approved timelines and budgets. The Program Officer will conduct monthly joint field monitoring visits, generate actionable reports, and oversee RFI implementation, cluster-level documentation, and archiving. Additionally, the role involves tracking and reviewing program expenditures, initiating corrective actions for deviations beyond ±10%, and submitting monthly pipeline and expenditure analysis reports. The candidate will maintain up-to-date monitoring checklists and budget tracking tools, facilitate advocacy and coordination meetings with key stakeholders, and produce a monthly stakeholder bulletin. Accurate and timely reporting is essential, including monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports, as well as maintaining organized electronic archives of all project documentation. The Program Officer will also provide HR management support by updating the State Ad hoc Personnel database and ensuring completeness and accuracy.

The position also involves facilitating accurate documentation, maintaining a database of all ad-hoc staff and program resources, and supporting the review, collation, and submission of routine progress reports—weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly—from field teams, including capturing success stories in accordance with project and donor guidelines.
Additional responsibilities include reviewing financial and programmatic reports to ensure compliance with reporting timelines and donor requirements, as well as developing and maintaining an efficient filing and tracking system for all project documentation, including meeting minutes.
