PROGRAM ASSISTANT: will provide programmatic and administrative support to the project Offices. He/she will contribute to the design, planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of facility and community-based target driven activities focused on demand creation for uptake of HIV/AIDS services and quality service provision/delivery within the state or LGAs. The successful candidate will ensure adequate and timely activity implementation through periodic work plan review, processing memos, fund requests, monitoring of expenditure and initiating corrective actions to mitigate financial risk to the organization and adherence to donor and organizational policies and guidelines. Maintain program monitoring checklists and budget tracking tools to effectively supervise deliverables and burn rate of community-based target driven activities in the implementation of high-quality HIV/AIDS services at state, cluster and LGA levels; based on approved workplan and facilitate filing of accurate documentation and maintain a database of all ad-hoc staff and program implementation resources.

Assist in providing technical assistance in different health systems strengthening aspects using the six WHO building blocks and a reference guide, support the STO-HSS in collaborating with the relevant federal, State and LGA departments/agencies and other partners to develop innovative technical strategies, tools and systems to strengthen health systems at all levels. Support the development and implementation framework for capacity development for the different departments in the design and implementation of evidence-based health systems policies and practices related to their technical programs and units.

TECHNICAL OFFICER-AGYW & PREVENTION SERVICES: Will provide technical and programmatic oversight to the AGYW component of the NAHI grant. This will include coordinating and driving the implementation and monitoring of interventions targeted at adolescent girls and young women across implementing States. He/she will coordinate the delivery of prevention services to vulnerable groups especially to AGYW, provide day to day guidance to implementing states on appropriate technical and programmatic approaches for HIV prevention services including reproductive health (SRH) services, and gender-based violence (GBV) mitigation and post-violence care for AGYW. SENIOR TECHNICAL ADVISOR-PREVENTION, RESEARCH & LEARNING: Will support the grant implementation and coordination of program areas related to AGYW and PWUD by contributing to the knowledge base and profile of these intervention areas to inform program design, delivery, monitoring and quality assurance whilst also contributing to reviews of existing implementation policies, guidelines and program approaches in partnership with civil society, government, donors and other stakeholders based on learnings and emerging needs through Implementation Science and Research. Under the supervision of the Technical Director, he/she will provide day-to-day implementation support and advice to implementing states on appropriate technical and programmatic approaches for harm reduction and AGYW interventions, with a focus on quality and evidence-based interventions, guide implementers, in partnership with technical agencies i.e. UNODC and UNAIDS to bring evidence-based improvements in the delivery of harm reduction and AGYW services which respond to people’s needs, use of data for decision making. The STA-PRL will also work with stakeholders and staff across implementing states to adapt and disseminate guidelines, tools and procedures aligned to normative global guidance that will support the achievement of quality service delivery, including monitoring compliance.

TECHNICAL OFFICER-PHARMACY & SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT: Will assist the Senior Technical Officer (PSM) in the development of AHNi in-house capacity among the various departments, implementing agencies (IAs) and all tiers of government in all aspects of logistics and supply chain management of health commodities. S/he will provide technical support and leadership to Nigeria’s efforts to strengthen the procurement and supply chain management system of health commodities using evidence-based data from the logistics management information system, to reduce stock-outs, lower costs and eliminate wastage. The TO-PSM will ensure continuous availability of health products for service provision, liaise with state LMCU in following up with distribution plans to ensure last mile distribution of commodities to supported facilities by 3PLs; flagging off every delivery anomaly, not limited to deliveries by proxy, delivery at odd times etc. S/he will provide technical support and oversight in collaboration with the State LMCU to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of LMIS reports submitted by facility focal persons, support the SRs and State LMCU to prepare the Last Mile Distribution order and review same to ensure that prepared LMDs reflect LMIS reports submitted by supported health facilities in the State.

She/He will dispense Antiretroviral drugs (ARVs) and other medication in line with approved regimens and standards, dispense ARVs in appropriate packaging with clear instructions, provide medication-related counseling, including reinforcing adherence and advising on potential side-effects and drug interactions. She/He will provide drug information to health service providers and clients on request, identifying and support follow-up of clients who do not return for refills of their ARVs and work with providers and clients to identify, manage, and report adverse drug reactions and drug interactions.

To strengthen our operations and interventions in the country, we are seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:
FRONT DESK INTERN: Will be responsible for registering clients according to established protocols, assisting Clients to complete all necessary forms and documentation and ensuring that information provided is accurate. He/she will inform Clients of medical office procedures and policies in liaison with the records unit and maintain and manage client records, move Clients through appointments as scheduled, answer incoming calls and deal with inquiries and transfer calls as required. He/she will schedule Client’s appointments, deal with incoming and outgoing posts/mails and complete other clerical duties as assigned. Also, the Front Desk Intern will maintain stock of forms and office supplies, ensure the reception area is well maintained, neat and clean and Safeguard Clients’ privacy and confidentiality.
