To strengthen our operations and interventions in the country, we are seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:
ADHERENCE COUNSELOR INTERN: Will provide psychosocial and continuous support as well as treatment/PrEP preparation to KPs and their partners in the OSS. Identify and address challenges/barriers to adherence to care and treatment to ART for KPs and PrEP for their partners. Organize and facilitate support group sessions for infected and affected KPs. Address aspects of behavior in relation to HIV and ART. Conduct Sexual network tracking/Partner notification services. Facilitate the delivery of PWP information to clients enrolled in OSS. Participate in home visits as appropriate to execute plan of care for clients. Ensure client records are well maintained and compile periodic reports as necessary. Ensure proper referral of patients where necessary including following up and reporting on the outcomes as necessary. The successful candidate will coordinate patient tracking activities supported by the Case Managers including documentation and reporting of defaulter tracing activities. Report to the facility in charge and AHNi GF Technical leads as well as working in collaboration, and with the guidance of the Clinical Technical team. She/He will also compile and submit monthly reports on psychosocial support and patient tracking activities.

Also, the Triage Nurse will provide accurate healthcare information and self-care/health improvement advice to meet the holistic and therapeutic requirements of the clients and provide appropriate education to clients regarding medical terms and procedures.

Also, the TA-PCT will ensure regular monitoring of treatment adherence, tracking defaulting/ lost to follow up clients and facilitate their return to care, support scale-up of Differentiated Service Delivery (DSD) models for stable clients via sensitization and orientation of HCWs and patients and institutionalize KYC (Know Your Client) principles in case management amongst Case Managers.

SECURITY OFFICER: Will be responsible for providing security advisory to staff across the entire GF NAHI Grant implementation states to minimize staff exposure to security risk and mitigate any harm to staff or program property. He/she will develop and implement security management plan and security protocols for AHNi state offices, conduct regular security risk assessments in line with minimum operation requirements, conduct regular safety audits of all AHNi premises and recommend measures that would reduce risk, focusing on prevention and deterrence, ensure that Security Guards at all AHNi premises have undergone basic safety and security trainings and maintain clear records on the same. In consultation with the Admin Manager/SFAO/SPO, he/she will ensure that safety features are installed in all AHNi premises, conduct safety and security trainings to all new staff before deployment to filed locations. Also, the Security Officer will analyze staff security and safety needs and share with line managers through the State Team Lead, develop a catalogue of mandatory trainings that staff should undertake & conduct brief security briefs before deployment to deep field locations, ensure close coordination of AHNi security protocols with other actors in the operation areas and keep monitoring for any actions that may elevate our security risk for immediate remedy.

ASSISTANT TECHNICAL OFFICER-CLINICAL SERVICES: Willprovide technical leadership and technical support related to clinical management of HIV/AIDS and Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) to Key populations (MSM, FSW, PWID & Transgender). Provide ART services to Key Populations in line with current World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations and national guidelines both at the OSS and through mobile ART sites. Oversee clinical HIV treatment protocols in each clinical department to reflect the needs of the Keys populations and ensure consistency of treatment services throughout the OSS. Ensure seamless delivery of service for clients from intake through discharge at the OSS. Effectively manage and supervise other health service providers, volunteers and case managers at the OSS as well as mobile ART teams. Advise project team on national and state policies, procedures and licensing requirements and ensure compliance with all requirements and/or mandatory inspections. Provide support to the Strategic Information (SI) unit to manage data collection for service delivery to Key Populations in project communities using nationally approved tools.

SENIOR TECHNICAL OFFICER – MONITORING & EVALUATION: Will be responsible for the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities for the State Office. S/he will ensure that monitoring and evaluation activities are appropriate and meet the donor and project’s M&E needs. S/He will provide technical oversight for designing, development, planning, implementation; and capacity-building of monitoring and evaluation of assigned unit level programs and develop strategies and tools for the design and implementation of surveillance, monitoring and evaluation components.
