Human Resource Manager
Kelechi Udenwa is a Human Resources professional with over 10 years’ experience working in the development sector. She is a professional with a strong grasp of employment laws, compliance and administrative procedures, bringing an innovative approach to human resource management while creating a team-driven environment that fosters room for development and growth. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from Brunel University, United Kingdom and a master’s degree in Law from the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom. She is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development UK.
Prior to joining AHNi, she was the Deputy Human Resources Manager for Pact an international non-governmental organization in Nigeria where she managed the HR unit responsible for HR support services for employees who worked in Health, Governance, Livelihoods and Natural Resources. She is versed at providing strategic business partnering to senior leadership and managing a team of HR professionals. She has facilitated and organized several trainings with several notable organizations in Nigeria. Kelechi has coordinated several recruitment and selection exercises in the last 10 years. She possesses over 8 years’ experience in leadership capacity and a certified human resource professional focused on adding value to organizations by working to achieve defined objectives alongside implementing policies and selecting and retaining the most suitable staff to meet all objectives. She has supported, trained and developed the capacity of various partners and government agencies in Human Resource management and brings on board diverse HR, payroll and recruiting competencies needed to excel in a fast-paced work environment.
