Mr. Charles Ihaza, ACA: MBA is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). He holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Osun State – Nigeria. Mr. Charles also holds Post Graduate Certificate in Forensic Accounting & Fraud Examination (FAFE), from West Virginia University, USA. Project Management from University of California, USA. Leadership & Management in Health, and Project Management in Global Health, from University of Washington, USA. Charles has a background degree in Accountancy. Charles is a consummate Finance and Administration specialist with over twelve (12) years’ cumulative experience providing first-rate financial management services and leadership within the private and development sectors. He has a deep insight into financial and operational management, with compliance and risk management.
Prior to his employment with AHNI as System Enhancement Accountant (SEA), Charles had worked with FHI 360 Nigeria as a Project Compliance Officer on multi- million Dollar projects financed by USAID, Global Fund, and DFID from 2012 through August 2018. The engagement roles required helping management to strengthen its risk and compliance management practices in project implementation. Before he joined FHI 360 Nigeria, he had worked as Finance Manager with Vic Phranc Nigeria Limited from 2009 to 2011, where he was saddled with the responsibility of undertaking capital management for efficient resource utilization. Additionally, he had worked with Acti Nigeria limited, an ICT firm as Accounts Manager from 2006 to 2009, where he introduced measures that facilitated seamless project implementation and growth of the company. Charles commenced his professional training with Bestworth Consult Limited, a firm of chartered accountants as Audit Officer.
