Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi) is a local non-governmental organization incorporated in Nigeria in 2009 with registration number CAC/NO/33391 and headquarters in Nigeria’s federal capital territory, Abuja. It was established with a mission to promote socioeconomic development by supporting a broad range of global health interventions, education, research and economic initiatives in Nigeria. It is an allied organization to Family Health International (FHI360) with coexisting and mutually supportive interest in advancing the collective goals of the people and communities served.
AHNi Presence
Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi) is an indigenous non-profit human development organization. In collaboration with government agencies, international and local partners, we combat HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria; expand access to reproductive health; strengthen health care delivery systems; increase food security; and improve education for children. AHNi’s head office is in Abuja, Nigeria but has state offices across five geo-political zones of Nigeria. The head office provides management and operational support to the state offices. AHNi has over the years developed vast experience and competency working with other organizations in the areas of health, education, nutrition/livelihoods, and protection. A cross section of projects managed by AHNi are funded directly and indirectly by major donors which includes USAID, CDC, Global fund, UNICEF, FCDO, TAConnect, UNHCR and UNFPA.
