Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi) is an indigenous non-governmental organization that promotes socio-economic development by supporting a broad range of global health interventions, education and economic initiatives in Nigeria. AHNi is an allied organization to Family Health International (FHI360) with co-existing and mutually supportive interest in advancing the collective goals of the people and communities served. To strengthen our operations and interventions in the country, we are seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

ASSISTANT TECHNICAL OFFICER – PCR LAB.: will liaise with the GF-NAHI state laboratory team to provide technical support and implement high-quality laboratory services for the uptake of VL /EID services to meet 3rd 95 goals. S/he will provide direct bench support to strengthen the uptake of VL/ EID testing in the PCR lab, to ensure up to date reporting on testing and, equipment functionality and Commodity availability and usage. S/he will also work collaboratively with the 3PL to ensure efficient samples transfer and result return to GF-NAHI supported facilities, assist in providing technical support related to high quality laboratory services and Equipment maintenance for the management of HIV/AIDS, care and treatment program in collaboration with the State & Facility PCR Lab staff.

Minimum Recruitment Standard:

• BMLS degree in Laboratory sciences or related field with 1-3years post national youth service experience in provision of laboratory support for HIV/AIDS.
